Besides the shell, WD My Book comes with some software tools for backup and drive checking, while WD Elements doesn't come preloaded with anything. WD Easystore is similar to WD Elements, but is Best Buy exclusive, and occasionally incredibly cheap per TB (cheaper then a bare drive) AFAIK, they use the same mix of drives.
